The long weekend away was supposed to be perfect. Detective Michael Riley rented a beach house for four glorious days and nights. After the last case he and Det. Lexie Sarconi worked, they needed time to rest and recharge. Too bad someone was determined to ruin their plans.
The call came in during their first night of vacation. They were supposed to have time off, but crime didn't sleep. Now, they had to watch their backs while their colleagues determined the nature of the threat. This time, Lexie wasn't the only one they were after. Michael was in the crosshairs too. But the two detectives were determined to make the most of their trip, despite the danger. This was going to be one killer getaway.
