This ebook features 40 of David Lavelle’s best photographs, and all of the profit will be donated to Hurstwood Park League of Friends.
On 17 March 2007 David suffered a type of stroke called a subarachnoid haemorrhage, when an aneurysm burst in his brain. He spent a month in Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, undergoing an operation via cerebral angiography to block the aneurysm with small metal coils. This procedure, carried out by a Radiologist with a very steady hand, saved David’s life. In the years following his illness he restarted his photography hobby, exhibiting on several occasions, and self-publishing several photography books (including the hardback and paperback editions of this ebook) which can be ordered through his website www.davidlavelle.co.uk
