Aguilera-Cota v. U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service

Maxine and Robert Slimick, Chapter 7 debtors, appeal from the Bankruptcy Appellate Panels ("BAP") dismissal of their appeal from the bankruptcy courts decision as untimely 87 Bankr. Rep. 98. The BAP found that the notice of appeal was not filed within the ten-day period set by Bankruptcy Rule 8002(a) and no unique circumstances existed warranting review nevertheless. We affirm.
