Airplane Mode’s “Amsterdam” is an indie rock exploration of emotions following a whirlwind trip to the titular city. Frontman Dave Wiskus tells the story of how he met a girl in a faraway land, fell in love, moved to be with her, and ultimately lost everything. More than a lyric sheet or liner notes, “Amsterdam” paints a deeper picture of the songs and their history, including full-length original demo recordings for each song.
