April Showers

April Showers is a young adult novella which shows how labels can affect a young person's life. Whether it's April being teased by aspects of her life she can't control; or Kyle having to live up to the expectations of his popularity; the two soon meet and begin to fill the voids within each other's life. When fate places them together on the homecoming dance committee, an attraction soon forms. But to April's dismay, there is one problem – Kyle's girlfriend, Brittney Sloan. As April begins to shower Kyle with her bright sunny character, Kyle has a decision to make. Choose the girl who would be the "reigning" queen? Or choose the girl who will bring the "rains" into his life. 


Author Bio: David was born and raised in Southern California to a family of five. He writes primarily in the young adult genre. His publishing credits include; The Christmas I'll Never Forget, released in March of 2013. The Plush Bear, a YA romance, due to be released in September 2013. The Fuller Creek Series, middle-grade; due to be released in August 2013. David is the father of one, and lives with his wife, Linda, in Yucca Valley, California.
