Awakening

Rio is living a happy and safe life and is on the path to graduating from college and taking the next step to his future as his twenty-first birthday approaches, but when the day comes, his entire world is turned upside down and he finds himself in a new world full of creatures he thought were only myths.

When some of the freakiest things Rio has ever seen happens to him, he doesn’t know what to do or where to turn. Then he wakes up one morning to find himself in a strange bed, in an unknown home, with a very gorgeous man watching over him, and Rio’s world spins upside down once again and he’s not sure what’s real.

With the discovery of an unknown in his territory, Alpha Lyric Lovell knows he needs to find out why this man is on his lands without permission to make sure there is no threat to his pack, so he sends out his people to bring the man in. Unfortunately, when the man arrives at his home, he’s unconscious. He’s also the most beautiful creature Lyric has ever seen, and when the man’s sweet scent hits Lyric, he is shocked to discover the beautiful man is his fated mate.

Not believing anything Lyric tells him, Rio runs from the gorgeous man, believing the guy has either lost his mind or is just plain coo coo for cocoa puffs. Then the hot as hell crazy man shows up in his kitchen one morning spinning more outlandish stories, and Rio is shocked to see his parents believing Lyric and his tales.

When Rio begins to undergo some frightening changes that have him attacking his father and almost killing the man, Rio knows that everything Lyric has told him is true and he is now a danger to everyone. The only choice he sees in keeping everyone safe is to run.

What Rio doesn’t know is that a threat is coming to the paranormal world. A world he has now been thrust into, and all the changes he has gone through is part of a bigger plan. One where Rio may be their only hope of survival.
