On October 5, 1958, the respondent, Frederick L. Baker, Jr., was involved in a collision of his automobile with an automobile owned by Robert F. Walker. Prior to the accident, Mr. Baker had purchased a $25,000 automobile liability policy from the appellant, Northwestern National Casualty Company (hereinafter called Northwestern), which was in force at the time of the accident.
