Bald Eagle v. State

1 This is an appeal brought by Jimmy Bald Eagle from a conviction for assault with a dangerous weapon, 21 O.S.A. ? 645 [21-645], allegedly committed on May 27, 1959. He was charged by information with said crime in the District Court of Blaine County, Oklahoma, as a second and subsequent offender, the prior offenses being admitted; upon conviction the jury fixed the defendants punishment at ten years in the penitentiary, 21 O.S.A. ? 51 [21-51]. Judgment and sentence was entered accordingly.
