Can You Run Your Own Business‪?‬

This is  a very personalised view and experience of one young man starting out on life’s adventure and the many pitfalls encountered on his journey to success and failure.

This is perhaps not the best template to follow but it is a very graphic illustration of the problems that can beset the dissatisfied traveller through life.  The one lesson that can be learned through these experiences is that nothing is guaranteed and often down to the luck of the draw.  Above all you need to be determined in your search for job satisfaction or maybe we should say life satisfaction.  It is possible to be a failure and stay happy.

Before you start up a business you must be confident that you have the expertise and resources to service and protect that business.

Ideally you would have gained some practical experience in your chosen business and you would have identified the financial side of that business.  How can the business grow and how can you can your family survive?

One way would be to ensure that your education covered the needs of your chosen business.  For example if you are starting out to be an accountant what had you chosen as your subjects.  There are a few higher education establishments that focus on a particular field and therefore are vital to your education programme.
