Clouds

You party, you love, you fall apart.
A and O are best friends. They move through the city together - between clubs and gallery openings, wild nights out and hungover mornings, sharing stories and glances and an understanding that runs deeper than language.
When something snaps in O, a distance grows between them. A can no longer reach her, and O is eventually admitted to a psychiatric ward. As life itself trembles on the edge, A is forced to confront a painful question: what is a friendship if you cannot save each other?

Clouds is a novel about intense connection and insurmountable distance - about beauty and sorrow, friendship and sex, and the overwhelming task of finding your place in the world.

'Sigrid Adamsson writes with playful originality about her generation's melancholy, yet watches over her characters like an old wise, soul. Can this really be a debut?'
Weekendavisen

'A wonderfully beautiful and sorrowful debut novel about love and loss.'
