Amadeo Avogadro , born in Turin Italy in 1776, was a famous physicist best known today by “Avogadro’s Constant”, the number of atoms or molecules in a mole, and “Avogadro’s Law”, i.e. V/n = k, a volume of gas V divided by n the number of atoms or molecules in it, equals some constant k.
