one of the best "ghost" series I've read
The Crystal Frost series is one of my favorite book series. I loved the characters from the first book and I’m going to miss Crystal, her mom and Teddy and all of her friends (and ghost friends). “Fading Frost” is the forth and last book about Crystal Frost, teenage psychic. In the beginning Crystal wasn’t sure, if she wanted to be a psychic, but after almost a year gone by, she loves her gift and how she is able to help others with it. When she is in a car accident and can’t sense her abilities anymore, she begins to panic. I also begin to panic, when she not only can’t sense emotions anymore, but there’s a ghost on the loose and I’m not sure he is one of the good guys. Well, I trust Crystal and read on. But she doesn’t do what I want her to do. She doesn’t talk to anyone and I begin to panic. This is when I’m halfway through the book and in my mind I start chanting: Please, please, say something to your mom. Or one of your friends. But she doesn’t listen and fights on by herself. I can’t even describe the feeling, the moment everything comes crushing down (literally) and the thing I feared the most, since starting this story, comes true. I swallow and close my eyes. This can’t be true. No, no, no. There are maybe three, four or five chapters left, plenty of time to sort things out. And in the end there is a happy ending for Crystal and Robin, Andrea and Teddy and Emma and Derek. Me? I am drained from this roller coaster ride, but it feels good. It was a great ending to this series and I congratulate Alicia Rades to a masterpiece. And to everyone, not having read this series..... What are you waiting for? Grab the first book, “Fire in Frost” and give it a go.
