Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh: Developing Together

The adoption of Technology at Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh has been one of the most significant and empowering initiatives of this secondary school’s (K12) development since it opened in 2006. 

Our Mission Statement, at Gaelcholáiste Luimnigh, is our collective desire to nurture an environment where staff and students work together to realise their full potential.  This requires our whole-school community to encourage one another to enrich the learning experience of pupils and to continually adapt to their learning styles and aptitudes - making learning more personal.  We are achieving this through our effective and proven integration of technology in our school.  This book details our story since 2011 and the journey we have taken to transform our school environment.


As we look to 2020, our vision is having a meaningful impact and influence on learning, with both pupils and staff realising their potential, having the confidence to personalise their academic and social development and resulting in very impressive learner and teacher outcomes with regard to academic and personal achievements.

Pupils are better learners, more and more pupils and staff are creators & publishers of their own content and parents are very satisfied with the ethos and operation of the school.
