Though at odds, Janae and Adam's chemistry is undeniable. Despite his ornery father's objections, Adam is all in on a relationship but Janae fears putting her heart on the line. LaQuette's protagonists leap off the page, and she makes their path back to each other vibrant and believable. This is good fun.
