Light It Up

On Sea Smoke Island in winter, eligible men are hard to come by—let alone two of them. Both attractive. Both new to the island. And both hiding something.

Marigold Olson doesn’t have time for love-triangle drama. As the island constable, she already has her hands full with a recent string of arson fires shaking up the community.

And then there’s her Aunt Dorothy, who keeps wandering around at night rambling about selkies (mythical) and Marigold’s dead brother Ollie (real, but practically mythical).

No one ever talks about Ollie.
Especially her parents.
Marigold never even knew him.

But when she starts digging into her brother’s disappearance, things on Sea Smoke Island go off the rails. Someone wants her to stop asking questions, and they’re willing to go to explosive lengths to make that happen.

Meanwhile, the two newcomers keep turning up exactly where she doesn’t expect them, and attraction is making it increasingly difficult to separate potential ally from potential threat.

What secret died with Ollie in that long-ago storm? Is there a killer still at large? Which new man can Marigold trust…and which one is bringing lethal danger to Sea Smoke Island?

When a secret has been buried long enough, there’s only one way to uncover the truth—

Light it up.
