Maine: Year One

Most people would think that someone who enjoyed the year-round warm, sunny days of California for 25 years would be crazy to give that up for the harsh winters of Maine. But that's just what photographer, writer and speaker Dan Zukowski did in 2015.



From Acadia National Park to lighthouses, seas, trails, roads and trains, Dan compiled what he describes as a "rather random journal" of his first year in the Pine Tree State. Its 52 pages brim with 33 color photographs accompanied by fact-filled text from a journalist whose byline has appeared in major newspapers and magazines.
