Mum... Let Me Live

Over the years it has been on the author’s mind to write a Christian book addressing abortion. For different reasons the author delayed writing this book, mainly because many authors have already successfully published books tackling this subject. Also, being a very controversial subject, the author felt it was not yet the right time for him to concentrate on writing this book.

During this time, while publishing other Christian books, the author listened to several different podcasts and watched various videos related to abortion. The author was open to listening to the arguments brought forward by those in favour of abortion and also by those not in favour of abortion. Reading online newspapers concerning this subject also brought the attention of the author to what was going on in his own homeland country of Malta, what went on in the United States, within the European Union and other countries in the world concerning different legislations and laws that came into effect regarding abortion.

Being a Christian and a practising Catholic, the intention of the author upon writing this book was to bring forward to the reader of any faith, denomination, culture, whether being in favour or against abortion, the voice of the unborn baby. The author wishes that this simple book give the opportunity to the reader to listen to the voice of the unborn baby pleading: ‘Mum… let me live’.

Reading this book will hopefully bring new light to the reasons why the author and so many other people are against abortion and in favour of life. The author wishes whoever reads this book, to do so with the freedom to agree or disagree with what is written, but at the same time to give time to one’s heart to listen also to what the unborn baby has to say: ‘Mum… let me live’.
