The view from the floor-to-ceiling windows was spectacular, the whole city laid out glittering beneath them, fresh and sparkling from last night’s rain. Everything looked so tiny it was like standing over a model village; Jem could see tiny cars winding their way through tiny streets. He leaned into the glass, pleased beyond words.
