In Anthony Trollope's autobiography, he observes that "the plot of Orley Farm is probably the best I have ever made." Still considered one of Trollope's finest and most engrossing works, Orley Farm centers on the tale of Lady Mason, a woman charged with forging a will that bequeaths the title's namesake property to her spoiled son.
