Tiring of the glitter and lights of Hollywood, movie star, heart-throb, Grant Michaels leaves for a much needed holiday to St. Raphael, a small island in the British West Indies. Ill-tempered and frustrated, he seeks solitude and escape. Perchance, he meets New York designer, Margaret Stewart and it's love at first sight. Grant meets his female counterpart in Margaret. She's equally successful with men as, he was with women. In fact she’s on the lam! Nevertheless, the animal magnetism between them is no less than sizzling!

Grant has to return to Hollywood unexpectedly when Tirage Studios decides to screen female co-stars for his next picture. Disquieted, Grant returns to Hollywood to find he cannot forget the beautiful blonde with the violet eyes. He’s disturbed by the undeniable chemistry between them. When he returns to the small island fate reunites them. A summer romance was a complication Margaret never considered, but Grant has other ideas. When Grant discovers Margaret’s engaged and before he can confront the two-timing blonde, she returns to New York.
