When God has an important work to be done, He sees to it that a particular young man or young woman is waiting in the wings, ready to enter the scene of action. The preparation and work of such a young man—Victor Armstrong—and such a young woman—Lillie Armstrong—provides more than passing interest for any reader. Victor was not the ordinary character, but he was the right man for the tasks to which he was called—by dedication, by inclination, and by temperament, he was God’s man for the hour. And Lillie was fitted to be his partner in service.
