Radical Republicans

As long as I can remember, I have loved the land of the free and home of the brave; I grew up believing I could do anything I wanted too because I am an American. Until I learned, I could not do anything I wanted to, because some white Americans did not see me as an American. Despite Jim Crow laws and being, discriminated against, I still love the country; I was born and raised in, American. I respect our two party political system and the built in expectations of disagreements between the two parties, it provide a checks and balances of power. However, in the last ten years and especially since, Barack Obama has become President; the Republican politicians who refer to themselves as Conservatives have become radical in their views? I have never seen anything like what is happening in American politics today, all because an African American is President of the United States of America.
