Sangharakshita Seminar Highlights - Cultivating the Heart of Patience

For over 40 years, we have been producing transcriptions of full-length Dharma seminars by Urgyen Sangharakshita, founder of the Triratna Buddhist Community. In this new book we present edited highlights of a previously unpublished week-long seminar on a key section of Shantideva’s classic text exploring Buddhist practice, ‘The Bodhicaryavatara’. We focus simply on the key passages of the text and Sangharakshita’s direct commentary on it, and hope this short, eminently readable version will encourage new engagement with a wonderful trove of Dharma wisdom.


We’ve used meticulously researched web-linked footnotes and references to bring the conversations and commentary to life throughout, providing insights into the famous text itself as well all the historical and contextual material that helps us understand its profound ideas more deeply.
