SAT Math Prep 800

This book contains 280 carefully selected problems originally from the highly rated book SAT Math Prep 800: Challenge Yourself to a Perfect Score. The goal of this study guide is to provide the ambitious and gifted math student who has already scored 650+ out of 800 on an actual or simulated math SAT sample practice to help him or her reach a score of 800, or as close to 800 as possible.  Interviews of high-achieving math students revealed that they would prefer to focus on practice problems and skip introductory material. After an important introductory chapter, this book delves into practice problems to meet this need by presenting the most difficult problems typically found in the last 4 out of 16-20 problems on the three math sections of the math SAT. 


A student at a 600-640 level will also benefit greatly from this book with a concentrated effort to work through the complex problems contained here.  Students who regularly score below the 600 level may experience some difficulty solving problems presented in this book, and we recommend practice through a more basic book first, such as The Official SAT Study Guide or Math SAT 800: How to Master the Toughest Problems. These books provide a refresher on solving problems in general terms before delving into practice problems.  When the fundamentals have been mastered, return to this book to maximize your score.
