Galveston, 1817…Pirates roam the Gulf of Mexico, and treachery abounds.

Time-portal guardian Joanna Mason McGregor is visiting Galveston, Texas when she encounters her ex-beau Gavin’s current girlfriend, Brenna Mayer, but this is no chance meeting. Joanna discovers that nothing is what it seems and everyone she cares about is in danger.

When Joanna goes missing, her twin sister Jill Mason Goodwin suspects she has been abducted by someone who wants to use time-travel for evil. With the help of the twins’ husbands Rob and Liam, Jill mounts an investigation to uncover where or when Joanna might be.
