On a tranquil island deep in the Pacific the inhabitants enjoy a blissful existence. Bliss has gotten better because the ruling council has recently doubled the number of seasonal feasts. The populace of course would like even more feasts, but the treasury is running short of money. And an election is coming up. The slide to tyranny begins.
