Andrea's dark eyes narrowed as he voiced the threat.
Lauren turned from the window. "What's wrong? Feeling cross again? The nurse says it's a mark of convalescence."
"Come here," he said again, reaching for her. His hand caught hers and he dragged her down onto the bed, holding her so that she could not escape.
"Let me go!" she exclaimed, twisting to avoid his hard mouth as it traveled across her cheek in search of her lips. He jerked her head around and as she glared at him she knew.
"You... remember!" She breathed with a shake in her voice, and her anger flared. "When did you remember?"
"After your second visit to the hospital," he said coolly. She stayed still, incredulous, her face white with shock...
