The Kiss

The Kiss-The Lovers, is a book about lovers who have reunited following a lengthy seperation away from each other. And how boths of their lives have changed.
Kayla Serrano, is a criminal lawyer who graduated frm Columbia University in New York along with Jason Gardner, who was also a graduate law student. Their relationship at university is purley academic.
Things do not begin to change between them until their graduation day; where Jason displays his love for Kayla by kissing her passionately. That is the start of their love affair.
Jason dissappears out of Kaylas life for a year due to the untimely deaths of his parents; at that time he becomes very wealthy ; inheriting all of the parents money and property.
The couple agree to have dinner, and their friendship is renewed with hopes and regrets.
But during Jasons absence Kayla becomes involed with Frederick, who she becomes engaged to, merely trying to forget Jason and the love she felt for him.
Jason on the other hand, had expected Kayla to wait for him and learns that she is engaged to another; but is still a virgin. The couple have unconsumatted sex, where Jason loves and respects her enough to leave her virginal.
Kayla loves Jason deeply, but he has not offered her marriage; not until she makes her definite decision telling him t hat that he is her true love. They consummate their love and afterwards, Jason proposes to Kayla who accepts as he places "The French Wedding Ring "on her finger.
