The Tower

The Tower is often considered Yeats' best work. This twenty poem work, published in 1928, was written at the turn of the century. The collection contains great passion from an Irishmen in a time of great passion. Ireland was in turmoil and inspired much of the collection although it manages to remain universal. 


William Butler Yeats is considered one of the greatest poets of all time. He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1923.
