Cynthia and Terry Ripley obtained a dissolution in 1997. The court divided the marital assets between the parties. Claiming the court erred by (1) concluding the parties community property agreement took effect on signing rather than upon the death of the first spouse; (2) considering Mr. Ripleys railroad retirement benefits when dividing the marital assets; and (3) awarding Ms. Ripley certain assets, Mr. Ripley appeals. Contending the court erred in its (1) division of the marital assets, (2) denial of her request of maintenance, (3) valuation of certain assets, and (4) denial of her request for attorney fees, Ms. Ripley also appeals. We affirm.
