A double wedding. A love triangle. What could possibly go wrong?

Jodie Anderson is loving life as director of her own company: a cleaning firm that cares. Her personal life is on the up too: she has been dating a nice teacher called Ralph who, to her surprise, proposes one evening when they are birdwatching.

Jodie is ecstatic, but problems arise when her daughter, Amy, also becomes engaged the same weekend. To Jodie’s horror, her daughter hatches a hare-brained plan for them to have a double wedding. Then, to complicate matters further, Jodie’s ex, Ash, makes a reappearance, wanting to be involved in the wedding plans.
