Just so good!
I stumbled on this book while searching for other more familiar writers and I’m so happy I did. The prize was ridiculously low so my expectations weren’t so high, but boy did I love it. It’s a rare one because of three things; the main character is a strong boy who stands up for himself instead of being a bully victim, the language is realistic and it holds you on edge all to the end.
My only criticism would be that there is no sex whatsoever in it, not even mildly there.
But that doesn’t remove how awesome a read this was.
