Hot and steamy, While It Lasts will have you in a desperate need of a cold shower before long.
Abbi Glines is never the one to disappoint her readers. I've read all of her books and I've loved them all.
To say that I loved While It lasts is an understatement. I enjoyed every second of it and I never wanted it to end. It had me glued from the first line of the prologue and I couldn't put it down even though it was 6.45 a.m and I was really tired. I ended up with three hours of sleep with Cage York starring in my dreams, it was more than pleasing.
I absolutely fell in love with him. I mean what's not to love? A hot bad-boy with a nipple piercing -yes nipple piercing, can you believe it?- who falls head over heals in love with a girl with a broken heart. I've always loved this sort of stories, because when the bad-boy finally falls, he falls hard and nothing stands in his way, hot as hell.
Eva was so closed of after losing her fiancé north of Baghdad whom she had planned to spend her life with, and then comes Cage. Bad-boy, hot and knows how to get a woman all hot and bothered. Who can resist his charm? I most certainly can't. If Cage was real I would be the first one standing at his door asking for a taste....
Hmmm, let's keep this PG rated.
It was mesmerizing to read as the two fell in love and mended each others wounds, and how they dealt with the problems that threatend their relationship.
Written in both Cage's and Eva's POV While It lasts was amazing. I don't usually like reading a book from a males POV but Abbi Glines boys are just that interesting and perfect. I wouldn't mind getting one of her male characters and I'm sure you would agree if you try any of her books. If you haven't picked any of her books yet you're missing on all the fun.
