Colonial essays‪.‬

This collection contains a selection of five essays reflecting the observations and views of the Dutch concerning colonial affairs and management of the colonies. The essays were originally published in the Dutch works, such as the Koloniele Jaarboeken (Colonial Journals) and the publications issued by the Dutch Society for the Promotion of General Welfare (De Maatschappij tot Nut van 't Algemeen).
