This book describes the different species and families of fishes found in the seas, estuaries and fresh waters of the Malay Peninsula. The species and families of Malayan fishes is provided together with lists of Malay, English and scientific names of these fishes. Included in the book are 72 illustrations of local fishes photographed at a fish market in Singapore.
