Ali Ibne Abi Talib on Leadership and Good Governance

This book is a collection of Imam Ali Ibne Abi Talib’s policy statements on the role and responsibilities of political leadership for providing good governance.  The primary source of this work is Nahjul Balagha (Path of Eloquence), a literary masterpiece containing Imam Ali’s sayings, letters and sermons collected by Sayyid al-Sharif ar-Radi over a millennium ago. Various English and Urdu translations of the book were consulted to select passages for this work.
