Beyond the Wall

For as long as she can remember, Jezina has stared over the top of the wall of her isolated village and dreamed about what might exist beyond. The night after a stranger arrives, Jezina decides it's time to see for herself. Aided by one of the village's elders, she makes her way to a family who has been waiting generations for her arrival.

The family's son Kale, surly and reticent, reveals himself to be her prophesized watcher, and together they set off, seeking to understand the roles they each have been thrust into. Each new village brings new friends, adventures, and sights she had never imagined—and carries Jezina ever closer to her destiny.
