Cupid's Armorer

Clint Mauser went straight from dying in a spectacular explosion in a war zone, to getting recruited as a Cupid by the archangel Michael. Michael gives the Cupid division one final chance: A pilot program where Clint replaces the Cupids' traditional bows and arrows, with armor-piercing rifle rounds to handle modern humans' hardened hearts.

Clint is assigned to work with Bethany, a beautiful but damaged female angel who's in danger of Falling if the division closes down. As Clint builds guns to pierce the hardened shells around human hearts, he and Bethany find an undeniable attraction growing between them.
