Having lived in a poor, gang-infested community on the Cape Flats her entire life, Carla Milton dreams of one day leaving this area. All she wants is a brand new beginning for her son and her soon-to-be husband. But her dingy past threatens to catch up with her and sabotage all her plans.
She had worked so hard to climb the business ladder at work and was well-respected by her colleagues. But her fiancé’s dabbling with their past life brings back old memories and casts serious doubt into Carla’s mind. Caught in a web of lies and deceit, will Carla see her dream of leaving this neighbourhood and starting a new life fulfilled?
