Publisher Description
Using survey data the impact of tractorization on wheat productivity is examined in this paper. A comparative analysis of yield data indicates that wheat yields on tractor farms are significantly higher than those on bullock farms. It is also found that tractor farms use higher amounts of chemical fertilizers on their wheat crop. The results of production function analysis also confirm the significant contribution of tractorization in achieving higher wheat yields. I. INTRODUCTION
