Harlow College: Not just courses. Careers

Harlow College is a large Further Education College on the West Essex/East Herts border. It offers a range of courses to equip learners for the workplace, further study or university with approximately 2,500 students and 200 teaching staff.

One of our College values is to be innovative and enterprising.

 

As part of this, in 2015 we issued iPads for all 16-18 year old learners. We introduced the Core 5 apps and learning tools to provide staff with structure and to ensure quality learning, teaching and assessment. We are now working with the digital Top 10 and we also ask our teachers to deliver with their chosen subject specific learning apps.

 

Our staff are teaching in innovative and engaging ways to ensure that our students are successful and fully equipped for their next steps, whether that be Apprenticeships, Higher Education or the world of work.
