Physical Experimentation, Instrumentation and Measurements‪.‬

The fascinating and challenging world of physical experimentation needs knowledge of tools to detect and measure dynamic physical quantities and transfer them into calibrated electrical signals, which are then interfaced into a computer. This process includes communication activities (reports, data validation, applications of design and development of experimental systems, conducting of feasibility studies, development of student skills involved in team working, and application of the "life-long-learning" process. The experiments allow the generation of dynamic signals, miniaturization of test systems, and the application of concomitant measurement systems that are built by students from "scratch" and used for data validation with sensor types that cover most applications in engineering.
