I’m Ross Walker, drummer for the iconic rock band Licks of Leather. On stage, I thrive in the spotlight. Offstage, I prefer to be left alone. My agent says my loner act is bad for my image and hires me a gorgeous, way-too-innocent fake girlfriend. I’m falling hard, but try to keep my distance.

I’m Harmony Sharp, a self-help internet vlogger. To save my Kentucky commune, I accept a job as Ross Walker’s life coach. But I soon discover I’ve actually been hired to pose as his girlfriend.

Beneath Ross’s gruff exterior lies a broken man worth fighting for. The longer I pretend, the harder it becomes to tell where fantasy ends and reality begins. When my deception is revealed, I must convince him my love is real—or live with a shattered heart.
