Weathering the Norm

Weathering the Norm: Thoughts on Ephesians is unique because it ties the apple of God's eye, Israel, to the church while including non-Jews in the commonwealth of Israel. Paul buries the hatchet, so to speak, between Jews and Gentiles and expects his readers to do the same.

Predestination is explained in such a way, hermeneutically, so as to give Israel its rightful place as the elect of God, chosen to bring the world to the God who so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, Jesus, so His eternal plan could be fulfilled.

Ephesians also explains the privileges of husbands, wives, children, employees, and employers in the joy of a right relationship with God and one another.
