Weeds of the Mind

“Weeds of the Mind” is one of those books that helps the reader see an important spiritual truth in a very real and practical way.  Most of us have battled weeds in our yards at one time or the other, right? In our determination to rid our landscape of those bothersome “soldiers of the sod” we will slather on the SPF 1000 sunscreen and pull weeds until we are muddy up to our elbows. “No bueno!”In a very similar way, there are types of thoughts and thinking patterns that are not from God  that will try to creep in and set up shop in the grassland of our minds. These are common things that we  all face like fear, worry and even chronic unforgiveness. 


The good news is that God wants you to be free from these things and  has given you all that you need through his Word and the work of the Holy Spirit in your life.  It brings him great joy to see you walking in strength and victory!  So, let’s roll up our sleeves and get our hands dirty...
