GENS UNA SUMUS

Chess.  Simply, Chess.  Not a racial Black and White…but a test of two extremely strong individuals.  Strategy, lethargy, and 21 games to claim a virtue victor.  GENS UNA SUMAS means GENS UNA SUMUS.  Or, “we are one family…”. Rough-ly…Spassky and the USSR stood a huge chance.  Fischer by 21 was not victorious.  Fischer by the end of 21 was victorious.  Shame…and befuddlement would make the way to the EAST…WINNER to the WEST.  Either way, a new crown would enshrine the USA.  As for the way chess was to be played; it would not be modified until 7 years after…less or more.  That is the time when Chess and White and Black would see the beginning of ramifications.  Moreover…since this match in 1972; a champion would be crowned, eternal…GRANDMASTER.
