Intergalactic Petting Zoo

The Intergalactic Petting Zoo was not meant to be a true petting zoo. A child wasn't meant to fall into the enclosure of one of the most dangerous predators in the whole system. But when he does, it's up to a tired zookeeper and the zoo's administrator to save him.

Aliens known as tlatans run a zoo exhibiting animals from all of the nearby solar systems. For the most part, the enclosures keep the public out of danger by way of see-through barriers, metal fences, and bars. But when an unattended child climbs one of those fences – thinking he is fleeing a predator from a different exhibit – he accidentally places himself in mortal peril.

As the put-upon administrator of the zoo marshals the other employees in a rescue attempt, Keeper Mythos is forced to place himself in danger to help the child. Who knows? Even with his assistance, they may both end up as a meal.

The ygrim is the most dangerous predator in the zoo, after all.
