Nike and the Fates

Nike the Goddess of Victory goes on a mission.

Nike arrives at the crafting cave of the Fates flush with determination that the Fates hear her cause, folding her wings behind her in a tidy fashion as she prepares to enter, ready to speak her mind.

Under her arm, Nike carries a loaf of her best lemon bread, carefully wrapped in paper towels, wax paper and twine.

All set to bribe the Fates, Nike dares try what some other goddesses avoid.

But whether the Fates agree to help her remains to be seen…
