Obstetrical and Gynecological Sonography:A Step by Step Approach

This book is intended for entry-level sonographers and students who are beginning to perform obstetric and/or pelvic sonograms. It is intended for OB-GYN caregivers who want to provide limited ultrasound scans as part of their patient care.

It will help prepare OB/GYN professionals to perform ultrasound exams. This book was designed according to ACNM, AWHONN, ACOG, and AIUM guidelines for the performance of ultrasound OB/Gyn exams.

Topics include ultrasound physics and instrumentation, scanning technique, ultrasound appearance of pelvic anatomy, pathology, fetal anatomy & abnormalities as well as fetal measurements and the biophysical profile.

Dr. Shepherd has been teaching sonography to OB/Gyn care givers for over 20 years. This book contains hundreds of images and illustrations as well as many videos of ultrasound scans.
