Publisher Description
This is an appeal by claimant from the decision of the Unemployment Compensation Board of Review that she was ineligible to receive unemployment compensation as she was voluntarily unemployed without good cause. Section 402(b) of the Act of December 5, 1936, P.L. (1937) 2897, as amended by the Act of April 23, 1942, P.L. 60, § 4, 43 P.S. § 802(b). Claimant was employed as a clerk by the American Stores Company, in Philadelphia, from August, 1943, until October 15, 1951. On October 15, 1951, she voluntarily left her employment to accept a new position elsewhere. However, on November 11, 1951, she returned and was rehired by her former employer.
